Microsoft has confirmed that Cortana and her companion Cortana-enabled Windows 10 PCs will soon be coming to the Xbox One S. Cortana, Cortana-equipped PCs are expected to be available in the coming months.
Cortana-based Windows 10 tablets will be released alongside Cortana-launched devices.
Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer, Brad Smith, said during Microsoft’s Build developer conference in New York on Thursday that the Cortana-as-a-Windows 10-powered PC will arrive “later this year.”
Smith confirmed that the PC will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The device will have a 5.1-inch, 720p display, which is said to have a 2560×1440 resolution.
The Microsoft Windows 10 Cortana-compatible tablet and PC will also feature a 7-inch touch display, with a 3200×1800 resolution.
The Cortana-facing display will also support voice recognition, Cortana support, and Cortana integration with Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft said Cortana will be available for $199.99 on the Xbox Play Store, though it is expected to cost a bit more.
Microsoft will also begin selling Cortana-ready Windows 10-equipped Windows 10 devices starting this month.
